Cormack Foundation owns about 390,000 shares in Transurban.
Worth about $2.65 million.
Cormack Foundation has disclosed $27 million worth of donations to the Victorian Liberal Party since 1999.
Victorian Liberal Party will /are in negotiations with Transurban over access and compensation arrangements related the th East West Link.
Is a registered charity.
On their web page it states;
"The IPA accepts no government funding, and is supported by thousands of individual members and donors".
As it is a registered charity, donations are tax deductable. So we get to subsidize donations that are basically used for political objectives such as stopping Climate Change action.
